Police: Bethany Man Arrested After Fight with Father

The 20-year-old resident was charged with drug possession, disorderly conduct, assault and interfering with an officer.

 

According to state police reports, a Bethany man's fight with his father last week led to his arrest for drug possession, assault and disorderly conduct.

Julian Cofrancesco, 20, of Dayton Road, was arrested November 20 at about 6:30 p.m. Police say the incident started as an altercation with his father, but when state troopers arrived, Cofrancesco allegedly fled the scene. According to reports, olice tracked him down using a K9 unit, and he was arrested.

Cofrancesco was held on $10,000 bond and charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct, Interfering with an Officer and 3rd-degree Assault.
