Police Blotter: Arrests for Narcotics, DUI, Marijuana, Patronizing a Prostitute and Burglary

Nov. 1 at 11:22 a.m., Woodbridge police made a traffic stop at Pond Lilly and Whalley Ave. Police charged Melissa Munson, 30, of Highland St. in North Haven, with Driving Without Insurance, having an Obscured Windshield, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Narcotics and Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana, less than 4 oz.) Munson was released on a $750 bond and given a court date of Nov. 9.

Jenifer Coons of Day Lane in New Milford was arrested on a warrant in connection with a burglary that took place on on Aug. 12. Coons has been accused of selling the jewelry stolen in that burglary. Police charged Coons with Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the 2nd and Larceny in the 4th. She could not meet her bond of $75,000 and was brought to court the next day.

Oct. 27 at 10:11 p.m., Pedro Hernandez, 32, was pulled over on Litchfield Turnpike. He was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear in the 2nd and Patronizing a Prostitute. He could not make his $55,000 bond and was given a court date of Oct. 28.

Oct. 24, 2:53 a.m. at Center and Amity Roads, police pulled over Lorraine Lamort, 46, of Cornfield Lane in Woodbridge for driving 25 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. Lamort failed a field sobriety test and was arrested and charged with Slow Speed and Operating Under the Influence. She posted a $150 bond and was given a court date of Nov. 3.

Oct. 25, 11:50 a.m. at Litchfield Turnpike and Dillon Road police pulled over Daniel Howard, 19, of Meadowlark Lane in Northford, for having no front license plate. Also arrested was his passenger, Jenna Camputaro, 21, of Wheelers Farm Road in Milford. Howard was given an infraction for Failure to Display Two License Plates and Possession of Marijuana. Camputaro was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Joseph Anastasio was arrested in connection with a robbery that took place on in Woodbridge on Sept. 23 at 2:15 p.m. Anastasio was charged with Burglary in the 3rd and Larceny in the 6th.  He could not make his $50,000 bond and was brought to court the following day.
