Student Caught with Marijuana in Backpack, Charged with Illegal Manufacturing and Sale of Controlled Substance

Feb. 8 at 2:15 p.m. Woodbridge Police were called to Amity Regional High School where they arrested Dyland Natale, 18, of Bishop Drive in Orange. Natale allegedly sold marijuana to another student in English class (who had been previously arrested for possession of a controlled substance.) Natale was called down to the office and his backpack searched. Authorities found a large pill bottle with four packets of a leafy green substance that tested positive for marijuana.
Natale was arrested and charged with illegal selling and manufacturing of a controlled substance and was released on $250 bond. His court date is today, Feb. 18.

Warrant Arrest
Feb. 17, Dennis Goodwin of West Prospect Street in New Haven turned himself in on a warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on Jan. 29. He was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive in the proper lane. Goodwin posted $100 cash bond and has a court date of Feb. 24.
