The suspect was located in New Haven about a day after the alleged shooting. Police say more arrests are expected.

The Woodbridge Police Department's investigation into an alleged shooting Monday took a major step forward Tuesday with the arrest of a suspect.

According to a report released today, police arrested the suspect, Patrick E. Young, on Tuesday, June 25. Young was located in New Haven with the assistance of officers from that city after Woodbridge Police received a tip that the 20-year-old was a passenger in a car located in the Grand Avenue area.

Young, of Hartford, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
