Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Bethany Man

Connecticut State Police say the resident was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Amity Road.

A 25-year-old Bethany resident was arrested after state police pulled him over on Amity Road.

According to a report at Troop I, the man, Michael Timpanelli, was found to have two PRAWN warrants.

PRAWN stands for Paperless Arrest Warrant Network, according to the state's Judicial Branch. The report states that Timpanelli's charge was violation of probation.

He was arrested and transported to a New Haven detention center. Timpanelli's bond was set at $25,000, police said.
