Woodbridge Blotter: Warrant Arrests for Larceny, DUI

Susan Harwood, 43, formerly of Olive Street, New Haven, was served with a warrant for arrest at York Correctional Facility for an incident that took place on Oct. 28, 2008, Harwood was charged with Issuing a Bad Check and Larceny 3rd. For a separate incident that happened on Feb. 28, 2009, Harwood was charged with Issuing a Bad Check and Larceny 4th. She posted a $1,500 bond and was held for the Wilton Police Department, who also had a warrant service for her arrest. Harwood was given a court date of Dec. 29.

Anthony Laires, 37, of North Hoadly Road, Naugatuck, was arrested on a warrant in connection to an accident that happened March 13, 2011. Laires was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Obey Control Signs, Traveling Unreasonably Fast and Operating Under the Influence. Laires was released on a $2,500 bond and given a court date on Jan. 6, 2012.
