Woodbridge Cops: Woman Hits Husband With Axe Handle
A report from the Woodbridge Police Department.
When Woodbridge Police responded to reports of a family dispute on the afternoon of Saturday, September 15th, they found a woman had apparently hit her husband with an axe handle in the midst of the fight.
Joann Haborak, 36, of Hamden, was arrested for 2nd-degree assault and released after posting $500 bail. According to reports, Haborak's husband says Haborak hit him in the head with the axe handle, and police report the man did sustain a facial injury.

Haborak will appear in New Haven Suprerior Court September 17.
