Public disturbance and marijuana in the high school, narcotics arrest on Lucy Street.

March 21, 11:30 a.m., at , a teacher confronted a 17-year-old student who was smoking in the parking lot. The student directed a tirade of profanity at the teacher which escalated out of control. The student was arrested and charged with creating a public disturbance.

March 25, 2:15 p.m., a 16-year-old female student at Amity Regional High School was found to be in possession of marijuana. She was arrested and charged with possession. 

March 24, 12:41 p.m., a police officer noticed suspicious activity in a parked car on Lucy Street. Matthew Czaplicki, 29, of Maler Ave., Shelton, was found to be smoking narcotics. He was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and possession of marijuana, less than 4 ounces.
