On Thursday, Sept. 22 at about 8:30 a.m. police responded to an activated burglar alarm at a residence located on Rimmon Rd. near the Peck Hill Road intersection. Today, at approximately 2:00 p.m. a residence on Deepwood Rd. was burglarized. Entry was gained via an unlocked door. The resident returned home and encountered the suspect leaving in a newer model “champagne” colored S.U.V., described as being similar in style to a GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban.. The suspect was describedas a white male, approx. 35-45 years old, with a shaved head, wearing black plastic framed eyeglasses, a dark colored vest and a white long-sleeved shirt. Several rooms in the house had been ransacked; however a list of missing items is unavailable at this time.
