Campaign Notebook: Another Spokesperson Leaves McMahon

Senate

Linda McMahon (R): The campaign’s spokesperson resigned after a month on the job for unknown reasons, reports the Associated Press. The previous spokesperson reportedly left the campaign a month ago for family reasons.

Chris Murphy (D) has been buying ads to air during WWE Raw, where McMahon was once CEO.

Third District

Rosa DeLauro (D), along with fellow politicians Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Sen. Joe Lieberman, announced a pending deal for the former Startford Army Engine Plant, .

"This announcement is great news and is particularly gratifying after working so hard for the past 17 years to develop a new process for redeveloping the Stratford Army Engine Plant site," DeLauro said.

Wayne Winsley (R): If you’re a candidate looking to raise some money, Greenwich is the place to be. Winsley joins a long list of candidates who have fundraised in the city, .  At the event, he described DeLauro as having, "grown arrogant and entitled as if the office is her right."
