Driver Charged with DUI and Speeding During Routine Radar Patrol

Woodbridge Police Blotter

Feb.9 at 1 a.m., Kirk Kolligian, 44, of Porter Lane in Orange, was stopped for speeding by the Woodbridge Police Department at the intersection of Racebrook and Rimmon Roads. The officer smelled alcohol on Kolligian's breath and asked if he had been drinking; the driver responded he had not, then admitted he'd had a glass of wine with dinner earlier. Kolligian then failed the field sobriety tests and was brought to Woodbridge P.D. and charged with driving under the influence and speeding. He was released on a $95 bond and given a court date of Feb. 17.
