The public is encouraged to attend this event, which marks the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, which ended World War I in 1918.
A small reception in the lodge at Veterans Park will follow. On display at the lodge are military artifacts donated in honor of veterans. The public is also invited to visit the Wall of Honor; the stone honoring the Dogs of War; and the bridge built by members of the VFW at the east end of Lake Hockanum, completing the walkway around the lake.
