State Dignitaries Slated to Appear at Annual Spaghetti Dinner

Long list of luminaries will stop by at various times during the event.

The Bethany Democrats' Annual Spagetti Dinner, always a good time,  is a little more exciting this year than usual. Special guests for the evening include Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Comptroller Kevin Lembo, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and Secretary of State Denise Merrill may make an appearance.

The dinner will be Saturday night, March 26, at Bethany Town Hall, with a wine and cheese reception at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring pasta, meatballs, sausage, garlic bread, salad, dessert, beverages and vegetarian sauce.

Kim DiMatteo will be presented the 2011 Citizen of the Year award, and there will be an auction.

The cost is $12 adults, $8 seniors and children under 12 are $6.
