The 3-hour public hearing on the Green Haven applications was recorded in splendid high definition. But to get it on TV before the 2/26 continuation--compressing it to the right format in standard definition for the playback server--consumed about 6 hours of human time plus 6-8 hours more of computer time (a very nice new Macintosh with an auxiliary 4TB drive), over the course of 4 days and an additional 3 hours, 10 minutes and 88 miles of commuting to the access center and back. AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR FREE, BETHANY! Be careful when you ask volunteers to do more...
