Klarides Reads to Third Graders at Turkey Hill School
Rep. Themis Klarides reads to third grade students in Orange.
Today State Rep. Themis Klarides (R-114) spent her morning reading to Mrs. Denton’s third grade students at Turkey Hill School in Orange. Following a tour of the classroom, Rep. Klarides spoke to the students about her role as State Representative and emphasized the importance of developing good reading skills.
Rep. Klarides, who reads at area schools annually as part of the Read Across America celebration, read the students Guji Guji by Chih-Yuan Chen and What Do Teachers Do After You Leave School? by Anne Bowen.
