School Calendar for Amity School District, Fall 2012.

 

Details from Amity Regional High School:

The first day of school for all students is Wednesday, August 29th. All freshmen are expected to arrive at school at 7:34 am for a freshmen orientation. All upperclassmen are expected to arrive at school on a two-hour delay schedule at 9:34 am. A double bus run will be provided for freshmen in the morning and upperclassmen later in the morning. Students will follow a modified schedule through all 8 class periods.

AUGUST

  • August 27: No School / Teachers Only
  • August 28: Full Day Staff Development (No School)
  • August 29: 7th & 9th Grade Orientation: 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
    Opening Day (All Students): 9:30 a.m. - 2:18 a.m.


SEPTEMBER

  • September 3: No School / Labor Day
  • September 4: Back to School Night (9th & 12th Grades)
  • September 12: Back to School Night (10th & 11th Grades)
  • September 13: Back to School Night (Middle School)

  • September 26: No School / Yom Kippur

OCTOBER

  • October 3: Mid Marking Period
  • October 8: Columbus Day / No School

NOVEMBER

  • November 5: End of Marking Period
  • November 9: Report Cards Issued (Middle & High School)
  • November 14: Parent Conferences (High School)
  • November 15: Parent Conferences (Middle School)
  • November 21: Minimum Day (Dismissal: 12:14 p.m.)
  • November 22-23: No School / Thanksgiving Recess
  • November 28: Parent Conferences (Middle School)

DECEMBER

  • December 4: Parent Conferences (High School)
  • December 5: Parent Conferences / Middle School Minimum Day
  • December 10: Mid-Marking Period
  • December 21: Minimum Day (Dismissal: 12:14 p.m.)
  • December 24 - December 31: Holiday Recess
