Do you care about the medical care that you and other members of our community receive? Then join a forum focused on discussing these issues: the Community Bioethics Forum.

This group is forming to empower greater New Haven residents to make more informed medical decisions for themselves and their loved ones – and to help the Yale University School of Medicine more fully understand the needs and values of our diverse communities.  We are seeking members who reflect our community’s rich diversity of cultures and perspectives. You can help to shape our agenda, but we expect to cover issues such as helping patients to make informed choices and how to ensure that medical care reflects patients’ values and beliefs.

The forum will meet once a month for a briefing by a top medical ethicist followed by a discussion of how these issues impact us and our communities.  Dinner will be served.
