The public is invited to attend the Friends of the Woodbridge Library Annual Purvis Lecture in the Meeting Room of the Woodbridge Library.
The featured speaker will be author James R. Benn.
Benn is the well-known author of the popular Billy Boyle WWII historical mystery series. The sixth book in the series, titled A Mortal Terror, was just released in September.
Benn will discuss his books, the title character Billy Boyle (a U.S. government investigator hired by his uncle "Ike"), and how he researches and creates the spell-binding plots and characters in his popular mysteries.
