Free Legal Workshop

Helping Your Parents and Other Loved Ones Plan Their Estate.  How do you talk to your parents and other loved one about their death and planning their estates without awkwardness?  This may not be easy, but it is in everyone’s benefit to make this happen.  Please join us for this Free Educational Workshop where you will learn certain skills to help you.  Without planning, the ones left behind face a tremendous task.  Does Mom have a Will or Trust?  Where is it?  How do I write Uncle Bill’s obituary for the newspaper?  What banks does Dad have his money in?  What insurance company, if any, issued Aunt Dora her life insurance policy?  These and other similar issues will be discussed.

The Workshop will be held at the office of Guertin and Guertin located in the historic Center Firehouse at 26 Broadway, North Haven, CT.   There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.  Please call to reserve your place as seating is limited.  We look forward to seeing you there.

We have scheduled additional workshops on other legal topics for October 16th, October 18th, November 1st, and November 8th.  Please check “The Patch” for more information.
