Year of the Dragon Discussion

2012 is the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac, but dragons aren't limited to just Chinese culture. It may surprise you to learn that dragons actually appear in cultures from around the world, including Native American legends. Dragons are believed to hold amazing magickal powers, and can be called upon to help with protection, power, health, and many other needs.

We're excited to present this special presentation and discussion on the history of dragon traditions from around the world, and will follow it with a dragon meditation to call upon the dragons of 2012. This program is open to all ages who are interested. A handout of Year of the Dragon and dragon legends will be provided and refreshments will be served.
