Amity Underdogs in Thanksgiving Football
The Thanksgiving rivalry continues on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Woodbridge.
Amity might have the edge against North Haven when it comes to their Thanksgiving rivalry (9-5-1), but a poll on Sean Patrick Bowley’s Connecticut Post football blog gives North Haven the edge this year with an 85 percent majority.
Kickoff is on Thanksgiving day at 10 a.m. at Amity Regional High School on 25 Newton Rd. in Woodbridge.
Last year North Haven won handily by 40-24, according to the blog. This year, North Haven (8-1) is relying on their running game to get in the playoffs. Amity, who is 4-5 this year, is hoping to break even with a .500 record.
