Corey Johnson is now famous for something that may haunt him for the rest of his life. A costly mistake, one may call it. Really costly.
The Meriden, Conn., resident — and UConn Huskies fan — reportedly didn't properly save his final selection for a national champion in Warren Buffett's Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge. He had the right match-up — Connecticut vs. Kentucky — and in his heart and mind he knew his pick.
Now his friends and supporters are hoping to help Johnson get his big payout. They have started a petition on change.org, in an effort to get Quicken to hook him up with the cash. More than 450 people had signed it at the time of this writing, and they're spreading the word on social media using the hashtag #PayCoreyJohnson.
