Warm Hands, Warm Heads, Warm Hearts
Christ Episcopal Church in Bethany is collecting warm outerwear for area charities, especially hats and mittens/gloves
This past Sunday a group of young people at Christ Episcopal Church spend several hours making ornaments and decorating a Hat and Mitten Tree for the holiday. It's a reminder for parishioners that those less fortunate need warm-weather gear, and in response, the church is collecting new hats and mittens, as well as coats in good condition, which will be donated to Chapel on the Green for their Acts 4 Ministry and well as to a group that supports the less fortunate in the Greater Waterbury area.
There is a box located near the tree in the Parish Hall for donations. Christ Episcopal Church is located at 526 Amity Road in Bethany.
