As new residents in Bethany (3 yrs) we were looking for a church to call home. I am so happy that we stumbled upon First Church in Bethany. Our 2 little girls just love Sunday school and their fantastic Christian Ed Director Janna. The pastor Rev. Caroline is a warm and compassionate preacher that draws us in with every sermon. But most importantly are the people of the congregation. They made us feel like family the first time we came. If you are looking for a church that welcomes you with open arms and makes you a part of their community, this is the place.

Bethany First Church of Christ is a classic New England church in both style and sense of community. It is a meetinghouse with a long history in town. As part of the United Church of Christ it is an inclusive and welcoming place with a mix of ages and backgrounds. The best word to describe the atmosphere is "caring."
