Mom, worker bee, kid at heart, friend. I'm one of those Macgyver types. I can take a lot of little somethings and somehow create something unexpected. Maybe I can't keep from locking the keys in the car, but I know how to entertain 2 children while waiting for the towtruck in some random location, armed with only a stick of gum, coffee receipt and a shoelace.

Recently relocated from north of the 49th, (that's Canada if you're geographically challenged, like me) and have found a wonderful, friend-filled place to call home, on the West Shore of West Haven. I wear many hats at the JCC in Woodbridge, where I manage the Painted Pomegranate (creative arts space and drop off center for kids), plan and host birthday parties and coordinate amazing community events.  

I'd like to say my interests include hiking and biking, but if I'm being honest, these activities are best described as 'leisurely stroll', 'child prodded hill walking' or 'boardwalk bikepushing' (and I don't mean my own, as parents with children under 4 can attest to). Ah, quality family time...
