On Saturday Sept. 14, at 7 pm on the side lawn at the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 511 Amity Road, Bethany, we will be hosting a free outdoor movie followed by a bonfire.
Come join us as we enjoy a family friendly film on a big screen under the stars outside on the church side lawn. We will be showing the film “Rise of the Guardians” starring the voices of Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Jude Law and Hugh Jackman.
When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs, and imaginations of children all over the world.

The movie and popcorn are free and all are invited (children must be accompanied by an adult). Please feel free to bring along your own snacks and beverages (no alcohol). Bring blankets and/or chairs to get comfortable for the evening.
Following the movie, we will have a bonfire (weather permitting) as another opportunity to socialize and get to know your neighbors in the community.
